One of my favorite photos in my library. I took this with a Canon SL1, and this was my first time out with my 50mm lens. I always feel like fixed lenses are the way to go because you get such a sharper photograph. We hiked a bit down into the blast zone, but before doing so, I had to squat down and take this photo of the wildflowers and the mountain because they were all so beautiful!
