I knew I was onto something good when I stumbled upon this spot on the trail. The light was flowing in at about a 30 degree angle during the late afternoon, and this entire rock face was illuminated by both direct sunlight and the sunlight reflecting off of the Kickapoo River. I took about four shots with my Canon AE-1 just to really make sure if there were any accidents, I had some backup images. The photo came out just as I wanted! (Note: The renderings of the framed canvas print are showing white sides of plain white canvas, but the edges of the canvas are printed dark brown, nearly black, to give a shadow effect to the framed canvas print.)
